Woman, 45, arrested after her passenger is killed in horror van crash

A 45-year-old woman from Stockport has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a van crash in Kirkham, Lancashire, that resulted in the death of her passenger, a man in his 40s. The collision occurred around 11:01pm on Saturday, October 11. Despite emergency services’ efforts, the passenger was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. The suspect is also facing charges for potentially driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
