Woman, 24, dies after car ploughs into wall in horror crash

A tragic accident in Bolton has resulted in the death of a 24-year-old woman after her car collided with a wall on Chorley Old Road around 7pm on Tuesday, September 16. Police suspect she may have experienced a medical episode while driving, and no other vehicles were involved in the incident. Emergency services, including an air ambulance, attended the scene, but sadly, she was pronounced dead at the site. Greater Manchester Police are investigating the situation further and are urging anyone with witness accounts, CCTV, or dashcam footage to reach out, quoting incident log 2921 of 16/09/25. A cordon was set up near the Bob’s Smithy Inn while they conducted their inquiries.
