Winners announced for Stockport Small Business awards

The winners of the Stockport Small Business Awards have been revealed after a public vote, celebrating local independent businesses. Launched by Stockport MP Navendu Mishra, the awards featured five categories with four nominees each, chosen from public suggestions. Over 3,000 votes were cast, resulting in the following winners:

  • Stockport’s Best Small Business: Kate O’Brien Art
  • Best Customer Service: The Coffee Bean Dream
  • Best Food and Drink Business: Reddish Ale
  • Best Gift Shop: Knit2 Tog Wool Shop
  • Best New Business: The Last Track

Reddish had a particularly good showing, with four out of five winners based there. Mishra highlighted the importance of independent businesses to the local economy and community, expressing gratitude to residents for their nominations. He personally visited each winner to deliver their award, celebrating their contributions to Stockport’s vibrant business scene.
