'When evil struck that quiet man became a tremendously strong hero'
Adrian Daulby, a quiet and gentle man, was remembered as a hero during his funeral at Agecroft cemetery in Salford. He was one of the victims of a terror attack at Heaton Park synagogue, where he was accidentally shot by police while trying to thwart an armed attacker. Rabbi Daniel Walker delivered a poignant eulogy, highlighting Mr Daulby’s selfless act of bravery, as he rushed to secure the synagogue during the attack. Known for his kindness and dedication to his community, Mr Daulby was described as someone who lived a righteous life. His family shared their heartbreak, emphasising his courageous final act to save others, noting he will always be cherished and remembered. The funeral was held a day after another victim, Melvin Cravitz, was laid to rest.
