There was a heavy police presence in Worsley, Salford, this afternoon after a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of having an offensive weapon. Five emergency vehicles were spotted on Worsley Road, near Mill Brow and The Delph bar, and close to a pathway leading to Worsley Woods. Greater Manchester Police confirmed the arrest, adding that the incident wasn’t related to firearms. Further details haven’t been shared yet.
