What does airport's terminal closure mean for passengers?
Manchester Airport’s Terminal 1 has closed after over 60 years, with most flights now operating from the revamped Terminal 2, which has expanded significantly after a £1.3bn upgrade. This change means around 75% of passengers will be flying from Terminal 2. Some folks are worried that the new setup won’t handle the increased traffic well. The airport mentioned that airlines should’ve notified passengers about these terminal changes well ahead of time. Additionally, they’re also working on extending Terminal 3 by reallocating some space from Terminal 1.
