Staff at Angry Ginge’s former football club have praised him for bringing attention to his hometown of Eccles. Ginge, now a coach for the U18s squad, plays at Daisy Hill FC in Westhoughton, Bolton. Winton chairman Mr Egan noted how popular Ginge is with the kids, mentioning that he always makes time for them, attracting crowds whenever he’s around. His best mate, Freddy Done-Orrell, has known Ginge for seven years from their days playing together in Monton.
