Two people caught throwing bricks at Edgeley mosque
Police are asking for help following damage to the Elaf Mosque in Edgeley. CCTV from 4 September shows two individuals, dressed in hoods and face coverings, throwing bricks at the building around 2:52am, resulting in several broken windows. Chief Inspector Clare Ryle mentioned that they’ve spoken to mosque representatives and local residents, and are conducting house-to-house inquiries to find those responsible. Officers will be patrolling the area as they continue their investigation. Anyone with information should reach out quoting log 1036-4/9/25.
