Train services cancelled and delayed across Greater Manchester following points failure

Train services in the north west are facing cancellations and delays due to a points failure at Wigan Wallgate station. Engineers are on-site working to fix the issue, which is impacting routes including Manchester Oxford Road, Stalybridge, Southport, Blackburn, and Leeds. Northern trains has stated that affected services may be cancelled or revised.
