Tragedy as man found dead near Greater Manchester railway station

A man was found dead near Eccles railway station in Greater Manchester early on October 1. Emergency services responded at around 6.30am, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. British Transport Police reported that the incident isn’t being treated as suspicious, and a file will be sent to the coroner. While services from Northern, TransPennine Express, and Transport for Wales were cancelled, they are now resuming but with some delays. The man’s age remains undisclosed.
