Thieves break-into Royal Mail Manchester depot and swipe parcels

There was a burglary at a Royal Mail depot in East Manchester on September 17, resulting in some parcels being stolen. The incident took place at the Manchester East Delivery Office in Miles Platting, with police responding around 9pm. Eyewitnesses reported a ladder seen sticking out of a window, while officers secured the area. Royal Mail confirmed that only a small number of parcels were taken and that they’re cooperating with the police investigation to contact the affected customers. As of now, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, according to Greater Manchester Police.
