Suspect named after woman allegedly raped by man in Stockport park with imitation firearm

A man has been charged in connection with an alleged rape at Heaton Mersey Park in Stockport on September 9. Greater Manchester Police arrested 28-year-old Usama Al-Sari from Manchester, who faces multiple charges including rape, sexual assault, kidnap, possession of an imitation firearm, threats to kill, theft, and possession of cannabis. He’s been remanded in custody and is due in court later today.
