Stretch of Cheadle Road closed after crash which left man in 'serious' condition

A man in his 50s is in serious condition after a crash in Cheadle early on 8 October. Around 1.20am, a BMW, which failed to stop for police, crashed near Cheadle College and ended up on its roof. Emergency services are on the scene, with a cordon set up and traffic being redirected. The A5149 Cheadle Road is closed from Schools Hill to Farley Court as investigations continue, according to GMP.
