Stockport's Merseyway centre gets ready for Halloween festival inspired by Mexican Day of the Dead

Stockport’s Merseyway centre is gearing up for a spook-tacular Halloween bash inspired by Mexico’s Dia de los Muertos on Saturday, 25 October. Starting at midday, the event features family-friendly activities like a Skullstock trick-or-treat trail, crafts, glitter makeovers, and lively parades. Kids can grab a map outside Specsavers to embark on their adventure, where they’ll meet exciting Day of the Dead characters and create their own keepsake accessories. From 5-7pm, the festivities shift to Redrock, aka Deadrock, with a night-time trick-or-treat trail, a folk dance performance, a themed parade, a disco, DJs, and fun games. Victoria Nichol, the Merseyway Centre Manager, expresses excitement over the event, highlighting it as a vibrant celebration that families will cherish. So, dig out your costumes and get ready for a magical day!
