Stockport is hosting a ‘carnival of art’ this Saturday, 11 October, featuring a lively parade, exhibitions, and free workshops across various arts venues like Stockroom, the ARC centre, and the War Memorial Art Gallery. The main parade runs from 1.45 to 2.45pm, stretching from Stockroom to the War Memorial Gallery. You’ll find workshops throughout the day, including a wearable art session at Stockroom (10am-1pm), a Happy Hats workshop at the ARC centre (11am-2pm), and a self-portrait workshop at the War Memorial Gallery (12-4pm).
