Stockport man charged with racial harassment after protest outside hotel
A man from Stockport, Karl Haydock, 35, has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker and racially aggravated harassment following a protest outside a hotel in Fallowfield on 7 September. He appeared in court on 9 September. During the protest, police issued a dispersal order on Wilmslow Road, leading to seven arrests, with five released on bail. Two others also face charges: Azeez Ibrahim Akin Kunmi, 26, charged with indecent exposure, and Robert Wood, 37, charged with stealing a police hat and bailed for a future hearing.
