Police in Reddish have seized around £12,000 worth of drugs following a stop-and-search on Thursday, 25 September. Officers from Greater Manchester Police were on patrol in the Heatons and Reddish when they detained two men, finding a significant amount of Class A and B drugs. They were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and for having an offensive weapon. This operation was part of a wider initiative targeting crime hotspots in the area, aiming to combat issues like robberies and off-road bike activities.
