Road taped off at Stockport as emergency crews race to scene

On Tuesday, January 13, emergency crews were called to Lower Bents Lane in Stockport around 8.30pm due to a crash involving two vehicles. The area was cordoned off between Stockport Road East and Redhouse Lane. Fire crews from Whitehill and Stockport stations responded quickly, working with police to ensure safety. Paramedics treated one person at the scene. The firefighters remained there for about 45 minutes following the incident. Greater Manchester Police have been asked for further comment on the situation.
