Police storm Avanti train to Manchester after reports of knifeman onboard

Police boarded a Manchester-bound train at Macclesfield station after reports of a man with a knife. This happened on December 18, just after 1:44 pm. Officers removed two men from the Avanti West Coast service and searched them, but no weapons were found. After the search, the men were released without further action.
