Police issue update after woman found dead in Manchester city centre canal

Police have provided an update on the tragic incident involving a 33-year-old woman who was pulled from the Bridgewater Canal in Castlefield, Manchester, on November 29. Officers responded after reports of a body in the water, and a large cordon was established around the area near St George’s Island. Sadly, the woman later died in hospital.
