Police issue update after cyclist hit by car on busy Greater Manchester road

A cyclist was seriously injured in a crash on Liverpool Street in Salford around 6pm on Wednesday, October 22. Greater Manchester Police closed the road at the junction with Seedley Park Road after the collision involving a car and a bike. The cyclist, whose age hasn’t been disclosed, was taken to hospital with injuries that aren’t thought to be life-threatening. An investigation is currently underway, and police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to contact them via 101, quoting log number 2737 from October 22.
