Police hunt drugs gang boss as six members jailed

Following the jailing of six gang members, including James Close—who continued his drug dealings even while serving a 36-year sentence—Greater Manchester Police believe the gang operated under the delusion that they were “untouchable” from March to October 2024. Hunt is suspected of running the show from his home in Middleton. The search for him continues as authorities aim to dismantle the gang’s operations.
