The incident, which occurred on Yom Kippur outside the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation, involved a man driving into people and resulted in the tragic deaths of two members of the public, alongside serious injuries to three others. Armed police shot the suspect, who was found with a suspicious item. Greater Manchester Police stated there’s no risk to the public and urged people to avoid the area, as investigations continue.
