A man was taken to hospital with smoke inhalation and minor burns following a house fire in Bolton. The incident occurred around 10:45 am on February 22 at a terraced property on Hilden Street, prompting a swift response from three fire engines. Fire crews battled the blaze for about three hours, managing to extinguish the flames while dealing with severe damage to the property. Dramatic photos reveal charred front windows and blackened external walls, with debris scattered in the front yard. Although the cause of the fire is still unknown, firefighters indicated that it started in the living room. A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson confirmed that the individual was treated on-site for injuries before being transported to the hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Crews remained at the scene to secure the area.
