Person found dead on railway tracks near Gatley station

Tragic news from Gatley railway station where a person was hit by a train today, 8 October, around midday. Sadly, they were pronounced dead at the scene. The police have confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be sent to the coroner. Such a sad situation.
