Performers say Manchester Pride owes thousands in unpaid fees

Performers and suppliers for Manchester Pride are claiming they haven’t been paid thousands in fees. Among them is Saki Yew, a contestant from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, who says a collective she’s part of is owed a substantial amount. Other businesses hired by Manchester Pride are also waiting for their payments. Manchester Pride is one of the largest LGBT events in the UK, only rivalled in attendance by Pride events in London and Brighton.
