One thousand jobs to come to Stockport Exchange as major company moves in
Vitality, the health and life insurance company, is set to move its 1,000 employees to Stockport Exchange, right by the railway station. This relocation will increase the workforce at the Exchange to 2,000, joining other notable companies like Stagecoach and MusicMagpie. Luke McClaran, Vitality’s chief people officer, highlighted the modern offices as an ideal environment for fostering collaboration and innovation, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the Stockport community. Cllr Micheala Meikle from Stockport Council welcomed the move, recognising it as a significant step for Stockport Exchange as a growing employment hub, creating new opportunities for local residents.
