Oldest solo Atlantic rower honoured for charity work

An incredible achievement! The oldest person to row solo across the Atlantic is being recognised at an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, where he’ll receive an OBE. Rothwell accomplished his second Atlantic crossing, even managing a quick snooze that led him off course for a bit. In 2024, he was awarded a Points of Light by then Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for his brilliant fundraising efforts.
