Motorcyclist rushed to hospital following crash on Greater Manchester road

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Golborne, near Wigan. Emergency services were called to Bridge Street around 6:25 am on December 23 due to a collision involving a car and the motorbike. The road was closed for approximately three hours while police conducted their investigation, resulting in heavy traffic in the area. Officers were seen managing the scene, with a motorbike and other debris left on the road. Fortunately, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and Bridge Street has since reopened.
