Motorcyclist rushed to hospital after crash on Greater Manchester road

A motorcyclist was hospitalised after a crash with a car on Golborne Road, Ashton-in-Makerfield, near Wigan, around 6pm on Tuesday, September 23. Emergency services, including paramedics and an air ambulance, responded quickly, and the road was closed off to traffic. Greater Manchester Police reported that the motorcyclist’s injuries aren’t serious, and no arrests have been made. Eyewitnesses described a concerning scene, with one seeing a man receiving CPR, and local councillor Danny Fletcher expressed his concern for those involved. The motorcyclist was taken to Salford Royal Hospital for treatment, but his age hasn’t been disclosed.
