Manchester street taped off as air ambulance lands following serious incident

A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after an assault in Cheetham Hill, north Manchester, this morning. Emergency services arrived at Halliwell Lane around 8:30 am, treating him on-site before he was rushed to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries aren’t thought to be life-threatening. The area has been cordoned off, with a GMP van, ambulance, and even an air ambulance present at the scene. So far, no arrests have been made as police continue their investigations. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed they are looking into the situation.
