Man treated for burns and premises evacuated in shopping centre fire

A fire broke out at a commercial property in The Rock shopping centre, Bury, on Saturday afternoon. Firefighters swiftly responded to reports of the blaze at 2:15 pm, evacuating the building with assistance from Greater Manchester Police. They used hose reels to contain and extinguish the fire, which was located at the back of the ground floor. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported, aside from one man who was treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation. Fire crews continued to work on making the area safe into the evening.
