Man suffers horrific injuries in Manchester railway station incident

A man sustained “life-changing injuries” in an incident at Deansgate Railway Station in Manchester late Thursday night. Emergency services, including British Transport Police and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue, responded quickly, finding him on the tracks. The incident, reported just before midnight, has been assessed and is not being treated as suspicious. The man was taken to hospital for treatment. While the situation is serious, responders acted efficiently, spending about 30 minutes at the scene before handing over to ambulances.
