Man stabbed near Salford park

A man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed near Mandley Park in Higher Broughton, Salford, around 11.30pm on February 13 during an attempted robbery. His injuries aren’t believed to be serious. No arrests have been made yet, and the police are still investigating the incident. Witnesses saw a cordon at the scene, with police tape around Great Cheetham Street East and Orient Street. The street is open again now, and anyone with info is encouraged to contact Greater Manchester Police or Crimestoppers.
