Man fighting for life after being 'hit around head' on Greater Manchester street

A 36-year-old man is in critical condition after being assaulted on Gibraltar Street in Bolton. Emergency services rushed to the scene around 4:55 PM on September 9, where the victim sustained serious head injuries. Greater Manchester Police are investigating but have yet to make any arrests. They’re calling for witnesses to come forward to help with their inquiries. Images from the scene show a police cordon with multiple vehicles and an ambulance present.
