Man 'doesn't resent police' for synagogue shooting

A man shot during a police response to a synagogue attacker in Manchester holds no resentment towards the officers involved, according to his ex-wife. Mr Finlay, who is in hospital after undergoing extensive surgery, was injured when police fired at the attacker, Al-Shamie, during the incident. Mrs Finlay noted a strong wave of support from the community following the attack and revealed that she wasn’t surprised it happened, having faced antisemitic abuse earlier in the year.
