M60 partially closed following serious crash

The M60 near Brinnington is shut down in the clockwise direction between junctions 25 and 26 due to a serious crash involving two cars. Emergency services, including fire crews and paramedics, have responded to the scene. As of 10.30am on Monday, 16 February, it’s still unclear if anyone was hurt, but significant delays are reported. Traffic conditions are showing heavy congestion indicated in red.
