Joint Statement by Stockport Council, Autisk and PACTS

Adswood Young People’s Centre has closed due to a serious safety issue with the building. The priority is the safety of children, families, and staff. Plans are in motion to provide alternative support for families, with efforts to secure temporary space for Autisk’s services, including their short breaks service this weekend. Stockport Council, alongside Autisk and Parents and Carers Together Stockport (PACTS), is committed to managing the transition smoothly to minimise anxiety for everyone affected.
