Erling Haaland has broken Alan Shearer’s record by hitting 100 Premier League goals faster than any player ever, achieving this feat in Manchester City’s win against Fulham. He joined City for £51m in summer 2022 after an impressive spell at Borussia Dortmund, where he netted 62 goals in 67 league games. Haaland set records for reaching double figures in a Premier League season quicker than anyone, doing it in three seasons. Just over a year ago, some thought he was losing form, but he’s proven otherwise, with 15 goals in 14 league matches and 20 in 19 overall for the current season.
