Funeral plans for Stone Roses legend Gary 'Mani' Mountfield announced

Gary ‘Mani’ Mountfield’s funeral will take place at Manchester Cathedral on December 22nd at 11:30 AM, followed by a private committal. His brother, Greg, shared the details via social media after announcing Mani’s passing last month. Mani, who was 63, was known as the bassist for legendary bands Stone Roses and Primal Scream. Originally from Crumpsall, he attended Xaverian College in Rusholme before joining Stone Roses in 1987, playing with them until they disbanded in ‘96, and later reuniting in 2011.
