Four vehicles involved in two separate crashes on road in Poynton

Emergency services responded to two separate crashes involving four vehicles on London Road South in Poynton on Wednesday evening. One vehicle ended up on its side, and thankfully all individuals involved were accounted for. Paramedics assessed two casualties at the scene. Firefighters tackled a fire in one of the overturned vehicles using a hose reel jet and checked for hotspots with a thermal imaging camera. Police managed a full road closure to ensure safety while the situation was handled.
