Four arrests over fatal head-on car crash
Four people have been arrested following a tragic crash in Greater Manchester that resulted in the deaths of four individuals, including taxi driver Masrob Ali, 54, and three young men from Bolton. The collision happened on Wigan Road on 11 January, involving a red Seat Leon and a Citroen C4 Picasso. While officers from Greater Manchester Police are investigating, arrests included a woman, 42, and a man, 46, on fraud suspicions, a 22-year-old for handling stolen goods, and an 18-year-old for aggravated vehicle taking. Five passengers were taken to hospital, with one woman in critical condition now stabilised. Police are urging witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward to assist the investigation.
