Merseyway Shopping Centre is chuffed to announce it’s bagged three awards at the UK Loo of the Year Awards 2026 for its top-notch loos! It clinched titles for ‘best baby-changing facilities in England’, ‘best baby-changing facilities in the UK’, and ‘best toilet facilities in a shopping centre’. The centre’s lavatories were praised for their accessibility, hygiene, and modern design, featuring spacious adult changing areas and even a prayer room. Manager Victoria Nichol expressed her delight, highlighting the focus on creating a dignified experience for all. Stockport Council’s Cllr Michaela Meikle also applauded the team’s hard work in making the centre an inclusive space for everyone visiting. Bravo, Merseyway!
