Firefighters called to Greater Manchester house fire

Firefighters tackled a blaze at a home on Kirkham Street, Eccles in Salford around 5pm on Wednesday, October 22. Three fire engines from Salford Central and Agecroft stations arrived swiftly and used breathing apparatus along with two hose reel jets to put out the fire, spending about an hour and forty minutes on the scene. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) confirmed details of the incident and the quick response of their crews.
