Fire crews called to blaze at Lancashire Hill

Fire crews rushed to a blaze in a bedroom on the first floor of the Bentleys building on Lancashire Hill, Stockport, around 10.40am today (20 January). Three fire engines from Greater Manchester, including one from Bolton Central, responded quickly, and thankfully, there have been no injuries reported. Firefighters arrived with breathing apparatus and used various equipment, including a safety jet and smoke curtains, to tackle the flames. Crews are currently on-site to ensure everything is fully under control.
