Everything you need to know as snow weather warning issued for parts of Greater Manchester
The Met Office has issued a snow and ice warning for parts of Greater Manchester today, set to begin at 6pm and lasting until 9am tomorrow. Areas affected include Rochdale, Oldham, and Tameside, with predictions of up to 3cm of snow on higher ground, alongside rain and sleet that could disrupt travel. Snow is expected to start around 5pm in some parts, becoming more widespread by 11pm, covering additional areas like Bolton, Bury, and Stockport. Wintry showers will continue into the early hours before transitioning to rain. Temperatures will drop to around 1°C but will feel like -4°C in some spots. Stay safe out there!
