Emergency services called to crash outside police station as paramedics treat two 'casualties'
Emergency services responded to a car crash outside a police station in Ashton-under-Lyne on Saturday evening. A blue van and a grey Nissan were involved in the incident on Manchester Road just before 5pm, resulting in visible damage to both vehicles. Paramedics treated two individuals at the scene. The van appears to have hit railings outside the police station. A fire engine from Ashton Community Fire Station arrived swiftly and worked with Greater Manchester Police to secure the area. Firefighters stayed on-site for about half an hour. Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for further details.
