Builder fined for dumping rubbish on open land
A builder has been slapped with a fine over £1,000 for dumping a massive pile of rubbish on open land. The council’s environmental crimes team made several attempts to reach out to the company and its owner, Cawley, for a formal interview but got no replies. As the council was gearing up to prosecute, they learned that an application to strike off the company had been submitted. So far, there’s been no response from Cawley.
