Boy rushed to hospital after stabbing near Greater Manchester town centre

A teenager was stabbed in Tameside and was taken to hospital with leg and back injuries, which aren’t considered life-threatening. This incident happened on Grafton Street near Hyde town centre around 5:40 PM on December 11. There was a noticeable police presence and a cordon set up in the area. No arrests have been made yet, and an investigation is currently ongoing, but officers believe the wider community isn’t at risk. Greater Manchester Police encourages anyone with concerns to speak to neighbourhood officers patrolling Hyde town centre, and they’re inviting the public to provide any tips related to the case by calling 101 or contacting Crimestoppers anonymously.
