Attempted murder suspect named after Altrincham town centre attack
A man has been charged with attempted murder and several other offences after a disturbance in Altrincham town centre that left four people injured early on November 30. Police responded to reports of the incident around 3.20am on Railway Street. One man in his 20s suffered serious facial injuries, while another, aged 21, sustained a significant chest wound. A 51-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman also suffered minor injuries. The police believe an altercation occurred prior to the incident, leading to an investigation. Nathan Peters, a 23-year-old from Partington, has been charged with attempted murder, two counts of bodily harm, and possession of a knife. He’s due in Manchester Magistrates’ Court today, December 2. Following the incident, a cordon was set up in the area for forensic work, and detectives collected CCTV footage.
